This website was initially created as both a point of reference for our existing customers, and for customers that may not be able to travel to our traditional location in Perth, Western Australia.  Got'ya Tackle stocks over 47000 different stock lines and is regarded as one of the largest, and best stocked outdoor stores in Australia.  Although all products are kept within our Balcatta store, not all of these stock lines are displayed on our website.  With this in mind, please do not hesitate to contact the Internet Sales Manager on a quotation for products you might desire.

Exchange Rates

All products at gotyatackle.com Online Shopping site are priced in Australian Dollars (AuD $).

When items are purchased, the exchange rate will be taken at the time of the purchaser’s confirmation of freight, which will be in the form of an email from Got’ya Tackle & Camping. As a rough guide to the exchange rates for Australian Dollars, US Dollars (USD $) are approximately double that of the AuD $.

Before purchasing any products from the site, the exchange rate can be checked via the currency converter located at the top of the gotyatackle.com pages.  Simply click on the $ Exchange link and assign the two exchange currencies and the dollar amount.  * This is a third party Website, for which Got’ya Tackle & Camping cannot be responsible for exchange rates indicated on the page.

Price shown on the Got’ya Tackle Website is inclusive of 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). Products purchased outside Australia will be automatically charged GST tax free.  Again this will be confirmed via email.

Freight Costs

Inside Australia:

Freight is fully explained before going ahead with your online purchase.  You can be rest assured that the price is fixed before the goods will be shipped and the payment received.

The standard freight charge for within Australia (Main land) is $15.00 AuD for all stock lines, with the exception of Fishing Rods and bulky/overweight products.  Rods are shipped inside a reusable protective tube and the freight cost is slightly higher to allow for this safe transportation.  Freight Costs for all Rods is $25.00 AuD anywhere in Australia.  In these instances where the products purchased require more expense for freight, you will notified of the exact freight cost before goods are shipped. This will be arranged by a return email detailing freight costs and delivery times.  Island deliveries will also be given special cost subsidies to help with freight costs.  Again these will be determined on an order-by-order basis.  If you have any queries reagrding freight costs or delivery times for an order, please do not hesitate to call one of a sales staff on (08) 9240 6000.

Outside Australia:

Freight outside Australia is worked out on an individual basis.  This form of pricing is conducted to save you, our valued customer, money.  Express Delivery via FedEx, UPS and DHL Transport are available, with the usual 4-6 day delivery, or Economy Post Air Freight can be used, with 14 day delivery being the norm.

Typical Rates tend to be: 

  • Economy Air Freight - $15.00AUD (for purchase greater than $500.00AUD)
  • Express Air Freight - $35.00AUD (for purchase greater than $500.00AUD)
  • Economy Air Freight - $25.00AUD (for purchase less than $500.00AUD)
  • Express Air Freight - $45.00AUD (for purchase less than $500.00AUD)

(NOTE: Duty Costs and Import Taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser.  Freight costs for returns will be at the purchaser’s expense).

Returns

Return of goods to Got’ya Tackle & Camping is at the cost of the customer.  If the product has been deemed faulty by the Sales/Warranty Manager, it will returned to the customer at no charge.  If the product has been deemed not a warranty, the product will be returned to the customer at their expense.  All possible precautions will be taken to eliminate this problem from occurring, with all products leaving Got’ya Tackle & Camping being checked for faults.

Backorders

We endeavour to have all displayed items on the Got’ya Tackle & Camping Online Shop at all times.  Due to problems with supply, which is beyond our control, some products may be temporarily out of stock.  The customer will be notified, and at their request the product will be backordered.  When the product becomes available, the customer will be notified by email and if the customer choses, the product will be sent.  By placing a product on backorder, there is NO obligation to purchase the product when it becomes available.  Every attempt will be made so products will be promptly available for purchase via the Got’ya Tackle & Camping Online Store.
